First Presbyterian Mission Statement

 We are a community of faith that exists to be a witness to the Good News of the love of God.

 As a community of believers, we give witness to our faith:

     --through worship that offers God our best, engaging both heart and mind.

     --through frequent observance of the Sacraments.

     --through fellowship that seeks to strengthen the Body of Christ.

     --through Christian Education that nourishes the spirit and gives guidance, especially to those young in their faith.

     --and through outreach to the local community and to the world community that serves our Lord by serving others.
